Clients may choose to meet within our private office or at one of our carefully selected preferred locations, offering a discreet and elevated experience. Private transportation and champagne service may also be arranged for select appointments, as we believe luxury is not simply a service — it is an atmosphere we create for every client from the moment the experience begins.

Following the initial consultation, we dedicate ample time to sourcing the finest diamonds and gemstones available for each individual project. Every stone is carefully selected for its quality, brilliance, and value, allowing us to provide exceptional craftsmanship while maintaining an accessible approach to luxury.

Once the stones have been selected, our design team develops detailed CAD renderings that allow clients to review and refine every aspect of the piece before production begins. After final approval, our master craftsmen proceed with the setting and creation process, bringing each design to life with precision, artistry, and meticulous attention to detail.

350.00 FLAT RATE FOR YOUR INITIAL DESIGN APPOINMENT THIS MONEY WILL GO TOWARDS THE PURCHASE PRICE. ALL CUSTOM CREATIONS REQUIRE A MINUIMAL OF 50% NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT.THE REMAINDER IS DUE PRIOR TO PICK UP OR SHIPPING. ALL CUSTOM ORDERS ARE TO BE PICKED UP WITHIN 20 DAYS OF COMPLETION.

CUSTOM ORDER PAYMENT & RELEASE POLICY

At Stephen Gray & Co., each custom piece is individually created for our client. To protect both our clients and our company, the following payment and release policies apply to all custom orders.

PAYMENT METHOD

The payment method used for your initial deposit will remain the required payment method for the balance of your order.

Example:
Deposit paid via Zelle → Remaining balance paid via Zelle.

Deposit paid via Credit/Debit Card → Remaining balance paid via Credit/Debit Card

A change in payment method must be approved by Stephen Gray & Co. prior to submitting the final payment.

CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS

Credit card transactions are subject to a 5% processing surcharge, where permitted by applicable law and card-network rules. Tax for full item will be included on second/final payment.

There is no credit-card surcharge when payment is made through an approved non-credit-card payment method such as Zelle.

CUSTOM ORDER RELEASE

All custom jewelry must be paid in full before it can be released, shipped, delivered, or picked up.

Stephen Gray & Co. reserves the right to hold merchandise until payment has been received, verified, and considered cleared.

Payment verification may add up to 5–7 business days before an item can be released.

If your piece is required by a specific date—such as a proposal, wedding, anniversary, birthday, or other event—please plan your final payment accordingly.

PAYMENT TIMING EXAMPLE

Your piece is scheduled to be completed on the 15th and you need it no later than the 17th.

To allow adequate time for payment verification and release, your remaining balance should be submitted no later than the 10th.

Completion of your jewelry does not waive the payment-verification period.

IMPORTANT

A completed custom piece does not constitute authorization for release.

No custom item will leave the possession of Stephen Gray & Co. until all required funds have been received and verified. All custom items are to be picked up within 20 days of completion. After 20 days from final payment date, any unpaid items are considered abandoned and will be melted back down or resold to recover amounts associated with the order.

By submitting a deposit or payment toward a custom order, the client acknowledges and accepts this payment and release policy.
